Shaun Hunter is a Special Effects Makeup Artist for film and television from Mississauga, Ontario. He completed the Toronto School of Makeup Art\u2019s Comprehensive Makeup Design course in 2008, and became a\u00a0full member in the I.A.T.S.E Local 873 union in the Makeup & Prosthetics Department in 2021.<\/p>\n
His skills lie in sculpture for prosthetic & prop design, prosthetic makeup application, multi-medium painting, practical prop & FX creation, character makeup, and out-of-kit makeup fx. Shaun provides realistic injury and prosthetic production & application in foam latex, silicone and gelatin. He is also a mould maker with silicone, resin and plaster mediums specifically for prosthetic, prop and puppet design.<\/p>\n
With a strong, diligent and meticulous set & shop work ethic, Shaun can manage any given project with confidence and provide the team environment of film with the cooperation and skills needed to get the job done efficiently.<\/p>\n
